The Sagres Fortress is an imposing monument located at the southwestern tip of the Algarve, perched upon a rocky promontory. It is famous for its connection to the Age of Discovery and Prince Henry the Navigator, serving as a mystical place “where the land ends and the sea begins.” Notable features include the giant Wind Rose etched into the ground and the small Church of Nossa Senhora da Graça.
